A Batch of Alien-themed Memecoins Emerge After UFO Hearing

During the hearing at the House Oversight Subcommittee on National Security, David Grusch, a former Pentagon task force member on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP), accused the US government of covering up alien visitation to Earth. While Grusch admitted that he cannot provide answers to specific questions as much of the information remains classified, he said the US government is in possession of non-human spacecraft.  

Citing Pentagon sources who are still working on the UAP program, Grusch said non-human biologics were found on the spacecraft. The hearing was also attended by Ryan Graves, executive director of Americans for Safe Aerospace, and former Navy Commander David Fravor. Fravor was responsible for capturing the famous video of an unidentified flying object “tic tac” off the west coast of the United States in 2004. Fravor noted that “tic tacs” are capable of stationary in strong winds, so he concluded that UAP is far beyond the material science we currently possess.

The July 26 hearing went viral on the internet. It didn’t take long, the crypto community launched a batch of new alien-themed memecoins.

According to data from DexTools, over 50 tokens related to aliens, unidentified flying objects, and others have emerged within the last 24 hours. However, investors need to be very careful because most of these memecoins are honeypot scams.

Currently, these projects have little and no trading activity although the topic is gaining popularity on Twitter and Google searches. Some of the more popular alien-themed memecoins have seen slight increases in price. UFO (UFO) has gained 2.4% in the past 24 hours while AlienFi coin (ALIEN) up 5.9%, according to CoinGecko.
